Reset automatic timeout

The default timeout for patient inactivity in PatientAccess is five minutes.

To reset the automatic timeout for logged-in sessions:

  1. On the Settings tab, click Login.
  2. In the Security.FormsAuthenticationExpiryInMinutes box, select the number value, and enter a positive number. For example, we'll enter 10, so that patients will be logged out of PatientAccess after 10 minutes of inactivity.
  3. Click the Save button.
